How did you arrive at the name METAFORM?
The name Meta – Form arrives from the word ‘Meta’ (from Greek: μετά = "after", "beyond", "with"), is a prefix used in English in order to indicate a concept which is an abstraction from another concept, used to complete or add to the latter. The Greek meta is equivalent to the Latin post.

Do you charge for the first visit?
There is no charge for the first visit as it gives you the opportunity to meet us and discuss the project with no obligation. This allows you to test the water without any risk.

If we do not require design consultancy services, can we purchase furniture and lighting directly from Metaform?
Yes, we have access directly to some product ranges and external sources for other items based on individual needs.

How does Metaform charge?
We are always open and transparent in how we charge our clients. We will happily spend time with you to explain our fees and discuss your budget.
We offer a design/build/fit out and architectural services combined with a furniture/lighting retail-selling situation. For this reason we charge fees for design/build/fit out or architectural services and then if possible supply furnishing etc at competitive prices with no obligation.

Why do you price separately for shipping and delivery when it is free at some other suppliers?
It is never free anywhere. Others include the shipping and delivery in the total price and sell the goods for more. We do not think this is as honest as showing the delivery costs separately. Metaform will prepare furniture and lighting quotations initially without shipping and local delivery, but include VAT. We can estimate, shipping and delivery costs as part of the initial quotation, on request. The actual costs of shipping increases and decreases based on the quantity and type of items ordered. Goods are also carriage insured based on the shipping costs and value of goods.

What is included in your delivery service?
1.When an order is processed, we will give you indication as to when delivery is scheduled.
2. We will contact you again and notify you when the goods are about to be shipped.
3. On arrival we provide a delivery service with two-hour time slot, a.m. or p.m. We carry the goods into your home and place it where you want and remove the packaging. We do not dispose of the packaging.

Do you design and manufacture the goods you sell?
No, we work with different suppliers who do their own manufacturing and who themselves commission designers. We decide independently what we buy in.
